(JEFFERSON CITY) – Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe has announced the second annual “Vacation Missouri” Photo Contest from the Office of Lieutenant Governor.  All Missourians, and those who visit Missouri, are encouraged to submit their photography work for the contest.

“I am committed to promoting Missouri tourism and all the state has to offer.  I look forward to seeing unique work and viewing Missouri through your eyes.  Whether it be our very own State Capitol building or your back yard, I want to see it.  Missouri is a beautiful state, and I encourage all Missourian’s, and visitors, to participate in this photo contest to promote the state’s stunning landscape and numerous tourism destinations.”

The contest is open to photographers of all skill levels who would like to submit their work for consideration.  Photography works of multiple genres will be accepted.  The deadline to submit photographs is October 5th.  To submit works or to request more information, please contact the Office of Lieutenant Governor at 573-751-4727 or email ltgovinfo@ltgov.mo.gov.
