Lt. Governor Kinder recognizes veterans at Riverstone Retirement Community
47 veterans live at Kansas City facility
KANSAS CITY – Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder today presented an official declaration to Riverstone Retirement Community in Kansas City in recognition of the facility's service to Missouri veterans.
There are 47 veterans living at Riverstone, and management of the facility diligently works to honor and commemorate the veteran residents, Kinder said.
“Missouri’s veterans not only answered the call to serve their country, many of them continue to serve their local communities,” he added. “I’m proud to recognize the support and dedication Riverstone Retirement Community shows these veteran residents. Thank you, Riverstone, for all you do for these Missouri heroes.”
